A warm welcome to Little Wise Kids; a magical oasis of tranquillity for children in the heart of Bristol City Centre. From the moment you walk through the door you’ll immediately understand why children and parents love coming to Little Wise Kids. Our aim has always been to create a childminding environment that I would want my own children to attend.
A lovely, homely environment; almost an extended family, where children can flourish, develop and gain confidence through quality adult-facilitated play that combines educational, joyous sensory and stimulating activities.
We understand that children learn everywhere, however, ‘Children learn best when they are in a healthy, safe and secure environment, where their individual needs are met, and where they have positive relationships with the adults nurturing, supporting and caring for them’. That is why, at Little Wise Kids, we support each child to become a lifelong independent learner through theme based and free-flowing activities.
Learning, Friendship and Fun for Everyone
We strongly believe that the quality and variety of what children see, hear and participate in is crucial for developing their understanding, self-expression, vocabulary and ability to communicate better as they develop.
‘The frequency, repetition and depth of their experiences are fundamental to their progress in interpreting and appreciating the world around them and facilitating individual growth and development’.
English remains the main language at our setting but the children are also fully immersed in their secondary chosen language daily – unless specified.
At least one daily activity will be delivered in Portuguese or Spanish.
